Nicole Falso, Certified STOTT PILATES InstructorNicole Falso, Owner and Certified STOTT PILATES™ Instructor

in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, & Barrels began dancing at the age of 3 and has extensive, life-long experience in all forms of movement. Also an accomplished soccer player, she began cross training in Pilates in 2006.

Nicole joined Island Pilates Center as a full partner in 2008 and became sole proprietor in 2013. She specializes in rigorous equipment workouts that leave her clients both beaming and buffed. Her finely tuned eye for detail and youthful vigor inspire and nudge athletes and anti-exercisers alike to greater strength and body awareness.

Nicole is an alumnus and current recruit of Whidbey Island Dance Theater. In her spare time she teaches creative dance to 3 year olds, and cares for her dachshund Louie and his fellow pets. Email Nicole



Karla Crouch
- Pilates
, a teacher at heart, Karla brings a rich background in teaching and performance to her passion as a Pilates Instructor. Karla grew up on Whidbey Island and began taking Pilates 15 years ago (between Ballet classes) becoming very fond of the mind-body connection and noticed vast improvement in her posture, alignment, strength and flexibility. Karla provides her clients an in-depth understanding of the movement of the human body whether they are looking for overall fitness and wellness or seeking relief from chronic pain. Karla is Certified in STOTT PILATES and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theatre. She has performed professionally in California in such shows as CATS, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Hello Dolly! Abi Tschetter - Pilates, is a Level 2 STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor, trained and certified to teach the entire STOTT repertoire in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels at the Essential through Advanced Levels. She is also a TRX Qualified Trainer, a group exercise instructor and a fitness enthusiast. She practices yoga, ballet and Pilates regularly and primarily works with private and semi-private clients. Nicole, Karla, & Abi have been trained in the contemporary method of pilates, STOTT PILATES™, which incorporates mordern principles of exercise science into the original method designed by the late Joseph Pilates. This exercise system has 5 core principles: Breathing, Spine/Pelvic Placement, Scapula Stability/Mobility, Rib Cage Stabilization, and Cervical Spine Alignment. Practitioners will notice improved posture, increased muscle strength & endurance, enhanced/flattened core strength, improved balance, alignment and increased flexibility.

Megan KramerMegan Kramer ~ NEW instructor!  A teacher at heart, Megan brings a rich background in teaching to her passion as a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor.  Megan began studying at Pacific Northwest Pilates in Portland, Oregon and became very fond of the mind-body connection.  She noticed vast improvement in her posture, strength and flexibility.  Megan provides her clients an in-depth understanding of the movement of the human body whether they are looking for overall fitness and wellness or seeking relief from chronic pain.  Her focus is on proper alignment, stability and mobility all while giving a well-rounded workout.  Megan is certified in mat and reformer level 1 and 2 and has also been trained in Injuries and Special Populations.  She loves applying the 5 Basic Principles of Breathing, Pelvic Placement, Rib Cage Placement, Scapular Movement & Stabilization and Head & Cervical Placement to all aspects of her daily life.  Megan holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and is also currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  She is a Certified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant who has worked in both South Whidbey and Oak Harbor Schools.  Megan is excited to be back in her hometown and will be teaching a variety of group classes as well as teaching privates by appointment!  Call or email Megan if you have any questions or want to get signed up!... pilateswithmeganllc@gmail.com / 360.201.8760

a blend of Astanga, Iyengar, and Vini Yoga. Amanda has been a certified yoga instructor since 2002. Her original training was in the Indra Devi technique. Her classes are now a blend of different styles of Hatha Yoga. Amanda's certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner, and five year practice as a massage therapist gives her a strong base of knowledge in anatomy and body mechanics, which apply directly to her hands on yoga instruction. Mike Johnson - A certified Group TRX Instructor, is excited to share this amazing Suspension Training System with his new clients.  Suspension training workouts give participants an edge over traditional weight room exercises.  TRX exercise builds true functional strength, improves flexibility, balance, and core, while enhancing performance on playing fields in sports and in life.

Mike focuses on form and core stability while delivering a diverse range of exercises. Classes are designed for multiple levels, from beginners to extreme athletes. The Suspension Trainer facilitates movement in multiple planes of motion simultaneously.   Using your own bodyweight with the TRX System, you will experience a total body workout.

Born and raised on Whidbey Island, Mike has been training in Jiu Jitsu since 2009. He began cross training in the TRX System to accompany JiuJitsu in 2011.  He is an expert snowboarder and passionate surfer.
